What are the signs my water service line is leaking?
Look for a patch of yard that stays wet or unusually green, a water bill that jumps without a change in your usage, and low pressure at every faucet instead of just one. A hissing sound near the meter with everything off is another strong sign. Call me and I will help you narrow it down before anyone digs.
Can you run a brand new line from the meter to my house?
Yes, that is one of my regular jobs. I trench from the meter to the house, lay the new line, tie it in at both ends, and backfill. I did exactly this job on a Pompano Beach area home and posted the work in January 2026, and I am glad to show you the photos when I quote yours.
How long does a new water service take?
Most single family homes are done in a day of digging and fitting, with water back on before I leave. Bigger lots, long runs and lines that pass under driveways or heavy roots take longer. I will give you a straight timeline with the estimate so you can plan around it.
Should I repair the leak or replace the whole line?
If the rest of the line is sound, a section repair is the right call and I will say so. If the pipe is old, patched before, or leaking in a second spot, replacing the run is usually cheaper than paying for repeat repairs. I will show you what I find and let you decide with the facts in front of you.
